A journey to refine the Heart, Mind, and Soul for Biblical Leadership

A two-year cohort experience combining doctrinal depth, leadership formation, and intergenerational mentoring to prepare young men for faithful service in the Lord’s church.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

FOUNDATIONAL CURRICULUM

Base set of materials provided to all participants

Based on the saltLessons that have already provided instruction for hundreds of shepherds, the NextGen Shepherding Fountional Curriculum gives participants practical tools and reference to in their individual contexts.

DIGITAL FORUM

Monthly online calls and collaborative learning platforms

Digital Forum sessions will provide opportunities to deepen the insights and discoveries made at The Summit sessions. Participants will learn to pray together, think together, and encourage one another, creating healthy interpersonal relationships and a network of support.

THE SUMMIT

In-person meetings are held three times each year, including elder sessions

The Summit will meet in person from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on three Saturdays at regional sites. These intensive mentoring sessions form the core of NextGen Shepherding by providing hands-on skill development and direct guidance that participants will apply throughout their leadership journey.
