A Complete Summary

“The conclusion, when all has been heard: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.”

This is true for any generation, culture, and country.

What is the conclusion of the matter when it comes to our leadership?

Can we summarize the our purpose as leaders in terms that apply to everyone?

Do we point people to the One with answers for life?

What answer will we give concerning our leadership when called into account?

When we stand before the throne of Christ, let us make sure the conclusion of the matter is clear regarding our leadership.

Preparing Next Generation Leaders

A major downfall rests in the approach to succession planning for the next generation. A number of books address the next generation of leaders and how the future of the home, country, corporate world, and, above all, church requires our attention in this area.

What are we doing to prepare the next generation of leaders? Have we considered the consequences currently experienced in the church because previous generations lacked a plan? Will we passively watch from the sidelines as another generation arises without the proper preparation and tools to lead?

The longer we procrastinate the more difficult the journey becomes to equip the next generation of leaders.

Independence…

Tomorrow, our country celebrates its independence.

There is a beautiful comparison between our physical freedom and the spiritual freedom enjoyed in Christ.

The willing, loving, and gracious sacrifice of Jesus demonstrates the value of our freedom.

The greatest joy of celebrating our independence is to willingly, lovingly, and graciously help others celebrate the same by introducing them to the way, the truth, and the life.

The abundant life promised by Jesus is one of freedom from the consequences of sin.

Our leadership should always help others understand the price paid for this celebration, physically and spiritually.
