Determination

We often hear about the need to never give up. We will face situations where it seems easier to quit than persevere. Babe Ruth said, “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”

This quality should stand out in leaders today.

Discouragement is almost certain. Signs may point to defeat.

However, this one thought should constantly keep us motivated in the good fight of faith. Satan is banking on us giving up, especially as leaders.

The only way to fail is to quit. Remember, it is hard to beat a person who never gives up.

Tired?

Do you ever have times when you are tired? Of course, we all do.

What will help us deal with these times?

Learn the signs. What are the signs of being tired? Frustration? Anger? Short in our response? Sleepy?

Step back and think. When the signs occur, step back and think before speaking or acting.

Wait to make decisions. Our ability to make good decisions is hindered. Pause and think first.

DO NOT QUIT! It is tempting, but regardless of where our leadership responsibility lies, we must not give up.

We will have times when we are tired. Remember and practice these four thoughts.
