Scared or Sacred?

Why is leadership so scary? Knowing that leaders deal with answering questions pertaining to goals, plans, maintaining morale, personality conflicts, providing resolution, etc., it does not take long to determine why the ground upon which leadership stands can be a scary place.

How do we overcome scared ground for sacred ground? God will help us overcome many challenges. Prayer helps us reach a more sacred footing rather than a scared one. Studying faithful people, such as in Hebrews 11, will also help us as we approach sacred ground.

It may not seem like much, but it is a start and sometimes getting started is half the battle.

Why is leadership so scary?

Knowing that leaders deal with answering questions pertaining to goals, plans, maintaining morale, personality conflicts, providing resolution, etc., it does not take long to determine why the ground upon which a leader stands can be a scary place.

How do we move from scared to sacred ground?

Spending time communicating with God will help us reach a more sacred footing rather than one of being scared. Studying individuals throughout scripture who were able to overcome with God’s help, will help as we approach sacred ground.

It is a start and sometimes getting started is half the battle.

Scared or Sacred Leadership…

Swapping two letters can make a big difference and it raises two questions.

Why is leadership so scary? The answers are abundant. The responsibility of leading people to eternity, knowing that leaders must set goals and plans, maintain morale, resolve conflict, provide solutions, etc., all contribute to why leadership can be a scary place.

How do we overcome the scared ground for sacred ground? Spiritual leadership is a God-given role and He will help us overcome. Time in prayer provides a more sacred footing and studying heroes of faith, as in Hebrews 11, help our approach to sacred ground.
