Leading with All my Heart…

Throughout Psalms we find the phrase “with all my heart.”

The Psalmist identifies several key thoughts connected to this phrase.

The most common thought is that of giving thanks. Imagine the power of leadership involved in giving thanks with all their heart.

The second thought is about seeking the Lord. Spiritual leaders cannot be effective without a drive to seek a relationship with the Lord.

The third thought involves observing God’s law or word. Again, the very foundation of leadership must be based on God’s word.

With all my heart is a study worth applying.

Relationship-Building Conduct…

“Time decides who you meet in life, your heart decides who you want in your life, and your behavior decides who stays in your life.” Unknown

For our purpose in today’s post, let’s focus on the last phrase.

People come and go for many reasons, job transfers, family matters, economic changes, and a host of circumstances.

Have we ever considered the impact of our conduct on those who stay or leave?

Our conduct has the power to create a bond that no distance can separate.

The choice is ours. When our conduct is Christlike, relationships develop a bond that keep people in our lives.

Heart of a Leader…

The Bible speaks a great deal about the heart. When it comes to leadership, heart is vital to our approach and development.

What benefits accompany a leader with heart?

With heart leaders dream of the future and what can be accomplished.
With heart leaders hold true to the integrity of their relationship with God and others.
With heart leaders invest in the lives of others to help them reach their potential.
With heart leaders plan with diligence and confidence.
With heart leaders step out with trust in God’s guidance and providential working to achieve His purpose and will.

Let us lead with heart!

Heart of Leaders…

Do we have the heart for leadership? Our leadership is about influence, passion, character, vision and much more. If we have the heart for leadership we do what is necessary to prepare ourselves in each area to grow and develop appropriately.

Do we have the heart for people? Good leadership involves people and no two people are alike. Having a heart for people means being a part of their lives and being transparent with our own. Connecting with people raises leadership to incredible heights and makes an eternal difference.

Not everyone has the heart for it. However, those who have a heart for leadership change the future.
